INDIVIDUAL WATER METERS FOR MULTIPLE FAMILY UNITS -ORDINANCE REVISION:
The Committee reviewed Ordinance #16-80 requiring all multiple family
units to be individually metered and discussed the recommendations of
the Town Attorney and the Town Administrator concerning revising the
ordinance.The Committee recommends the ordinance be amended to
require individual water meters on all customers that have separate
ownership of the land upon which the improvement is situated and to
allow the option of discontinuing service to nonpaying customers.
1981 MUNICIPAL SUBDISTRICT ASSESSMENT:
The Committee recommends paying the 1981 assessment of Estes Park’s
share of the Windy Gap project in the amount of $200,000.
REPORTS:
November 1980 water use showed a 6%decrease from November 1979 and a
41%decrease from October 1980.
Outstanding water service debts of the Stanley Hotel total $12,414.
Preliminary notice was received from the Division of Local Government
that the Town of Estes Park will not qualify for the $50,000 interest
free loan to be applied towards the Fall River treatment plant modifi—
cat ions.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
