CORLEY -WATER MAIN EXTENSION:
Mr.Edward M.Corley appeared before the Water Committee and
requested a variance to the Municipal Code in that he would like
to run a private water service line across an adjacent property
rather than install the Code required 6 inch main. The Water
Committee recommends this request be denied and that Mr.Corley
extend the 6 inch water main as per Code requirements.
RURAL WATER APPLICATION:
PULLIAM -Mr.and Mrs.D.R.Pulliam requested water service
for their property located east of Stanley Heights. The Committee
recommends Town water service be permitted.
HIGH DRIVE WATER DISTRICT:
Mr.Andy Anderson appeared on behalf of the High Drive Water
District and requested consideration for the agreed upon connection
fees to the Town’s 8 inch water line that terminates at the Beaver
Point intersection. The contract between the Town and Deer Ridge,
Inc.cannot be amended,so it appears that the connection fee
for that portion of the line will remain in effect. The High
Drive Water District will submit further information to the Water
Committee regarding water connection fees. The District also
requested a variance to the Code as it relates to the one—year
requirement for rural water tap approvals. The Committee
recommends this request be denied.
ELLEY -DEED TO WATER LINE:
Town Administrator Hill reported that Mr.John Elley had not
submitted the deed to his water line to the Town.Mr.Elley
is presently out of town and when he returns Administrator Hill
will get in touch with him and report back to the Committee at
the next meeting.
BILL McLEMORE -WATER BROKER REPRESENTING CITY OF BROOMFIELD:
Mr.Bill McLemore,a water broker from Denver representing the
City of Broomfield, would like to buy some Windy Gap water for
the City of Broomfield when it is available. The Committee does
not feel they are in a position to talk about Windy Gap water
at this time.Town Administrator Hill will inform Mr.McLemore
of this decision.
