TRAFFIC ISLANDS -REQUEST FOR FROST PROOF PIPES:
Superintendent McCracken reported that he had received a request
from the service organizations for frost proof pipes to the traffic
islands at Highways 34 and 36.After a lengthy discussion,the
Committee recommends that a frost proof faucet be installed on
the main island at this time.
WATER USE FOR NOVEMBER,1983:
November,1983 water use showed a +14.78%increase from October,
1983 and a -30.22%decrease from November,1983.The total percent
of water accounted for as of November 13,1983 is 67.44%.
REPORTS:
The 6 water line from Beaver Point to VerStraeten Road is almost
complete except for two or three connections.At Everett Lumber,
the water line is in and it is temporarily hooked up.The permit
time to cut the highway has expired and the State will not issue
another one while there is snow on the ground.Munchiando
Construction would like an extension and will finish the work in
the spring.None of the lines have been tested.The Town has
made partial payment on the installation and will pay the remainder
after the work is complete and the lines are tested in accordance
with the contract.
The Hospital water line depth has been corrected.
George Tritch has paid his back bill of $409.82 in order to maintain
his water tap.
Ed Corley has hired Attorney Rod Hallberg to redraft the Town Water
Agreement.Town Attorney Greg White has approved the minor changes
to the Agreement.Mr.Corley may come to the Water Committee for
final approval.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
