HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES Water Committee 1983-11-10C C BRADFORD PUBL.ISHING CO.,DENVER R E C 0 R D 0 F P R 0 C E E D I N G S .‘Water Committee November 10,1983 Committee:Chairman Wagner,Trustees Dannels and Hix Attending:All Also Attending:Town Administrator Hill,Water Superintendent McCracken,Clerk Jensen RURAL WATER APPLICATIONS: KEYSER -Mr.and Mrs.John E.Keyser requested water service for their property located at Lot 40,High Pines.The Committee recommends approval of the water service provided Mr.and Mrs.Keyser comply with the Code requirements as to water mains. TRAFFIC ISLANDS -REQUEST FOR WATER: Water Superintendent McCracken reported that he had received a request that the Town provide water for the four traffic islands at Highways 34 and 36.The cost to install the waterlines and taps would be approximately $2,000.After a lengthy discussion,the Committee recommends that the Town install the water lines to the traffic islands. ST.VRAIN CENTER SUBDIVISION: Water Superintendent McCracken reported that Bill Van Horn had asked to bring in fill dirt to cover the water line at St.Vram Center Subdivision rather than bury the line to the Code required 60”depth. The Committee stated that the water line must be installed at the 60”depth. REPORTS: Eagle Cliff Road has been completed. The water line installations for the new 8”line from Everett Lumber across the river to the intersection of Highway 66 and Eagle Cliff Road and the 6”line from Beaver Point to VerStraeten Road are about one-third complete. October 1983 water use showed a +20.08%increase from September,1983, and a -26.04%decrease from October,1982.The total percent of water accounted for as of October 13,1983 is 79.27%.
