RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
Water Committee —January 3,1985 -Page two
The Water Use Report for December indicated the estimated amount
of water accounted for as 75.9%.Twelve (12)“bleeders”are now
on line which should prevent the water mains from freezing.A
large water main located at the Crags Drive Bridge was broken in
December due to construction.
The contractor,B.T.Construction,was late in beginning the Big
Thompson Plant Project;the delay will not adversely affect the
water system at this time.
The Master Plan/Urban Growth Study is underway.
Water Superintendent Richards informed the Committee certain
areas of Town have been experiencing dis—colored water. This
dis—coloration is due to turning the water off and on to allow
for construction at the Crags Drive Bridge;and performing a
hydrant “flow test”for Stanley Village.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
