1.Mr.Michael Marden came before the Committee requesting a reduction
in cost of Light and Power as applied to the Auditorium Building for
summer months.Total bill for the months of June,July,and August
last year was $653.26.This amount was billed to the School District
and paid by the School District.The Auditorium Building was used
primarily by the Blue Jean Orchestra.Mr.Marden’s question is
whether or not some relief can be given by the Town in the form of
reduced Power bills.
2.Sweetland presented to the Committee bids received for the purchase
of a new truck to replace Truck #19.After examination of all bid
sheets,committee recommends accepting the low bid as received from
Garrett Motors,Inc.,in the amount of $1,911.42.
3.Committee recommends replacement of one oil reclosure switch which
was recently damaged beyond repair.Cost is approximately $1,928.00.
