1.Mr.R.C.Troxell of Longmont,Colorado, who has for many years owned
a cabin in the Allenspark area on the South St.Vram highway, came to
the Light &Power business office on June 8th and registered a complaint
regarding the theft of household belongings.
Mr.Troxell made a definite statement that the Light &Power Department
had possession of a key which would open the lock at his gate and also
open the lock on his cabin, although Mr.Sweetland claims not to have
possession of such a key.The theft was supposed to have occurred dur
ing the late fall of 1965.Mr.Troxell claimed that we should pay him
for the items he lost in the theft, and that he was absolutely convinced
that one of the Light &Power employees was responsible for the theft.
Mr.Troxell was advised at that time that this matter would be presented
to the Light &Power Committee, and he was asked to provide the Committee
with a written statement stating the details of his complaint, although
Mr.Troxell declined. He was informed, however, that he would be advised
by letter of any decision made by the Committee.
After a brief discussion of circumstances regarding actual possession of
a key,and the reputation and honesty of our employees, the Committee
assumes no responsibility in connection with the reported theft, and in
structed that Mr.Troxell be so advised.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
