LIGHT AND POWER COMMITTEE

OLD BUSINESS:
1.Sweetland reported that shelving for the warehouse had been
ordered but not received.He also reported that 1000 lbs.of
used copper wire was not purchased.
2.Sweetland reported on his meeting with the CAMU and APPA held
on March 17.He has requested of the Committee that Bob Dekker
be authorized to attend a pre-convention work shop on manage
ment and employee education.This is being referred to the
Board of Trustees for approval.This special meeting will be
held May 5 and 6.The registration fee is $70.00,and there
would be other normal expenses for the two days.The meeting
will be held at the Hilton Hotel.
NEW BUSINESS:
1.Bailey reported to the Committee that 20 Government J Bonds in
the amount of $1,000.00 each became due in January of this year.
Bailey requested that this money be placed in the Light and
Power Operation &Maintenance fund for the present time and
later be reinvested in short term Government bills.The twenty
bonds were purchased 12 years ago at a cost of $720.00 each.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
