OLD BUSINESS:
1.Cost of a new line truck was determined to be approximately
$21,500.00.Sweetland was asked to provide further informa
tion before asking the Board of Trustees for permission to go
ahead with bids.
New chassis approx.$6,500.00 New body $15,000.00
2.Permission to buy two radios per year was authorized by the
Board,however the cost has been increased to $1,853.00 in
stalled for two units.This will require new approval.
3.It was reported to this meeting that expansion of the present
electrical warehouse was being delayed because of building
code clearance.
4.Transformers were ordered,to be delivered over the next six
months.
NEW BUSINESS:
1.A rate study was discussed and it was recommended that no
action be taken until after conversion to the new electric
data processing project which is just now getting underway.
2.The Home Lighting Contest was approved by the committee.
3.Sweetland reported labor costs of $2,170.00 for Christmas
lighting this month not including labor on the cross.
4.Dr.Sam Luce asked that his electric bill on one account for
last January be cancelled on the basis of damage to his well
pump.The committee,after hearing all details,could not
justify or accept any blame in connection with his damage.
His request was refused.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
