SUBSTATION PROGRESS REPORT:
Superintendent Dekker gave a substation progress report advising that
the contract for construction between the Town and R.A.Reither has
been signed by Mayor Brodie.Superintendent Dekker requested permission
to extend a portion of the Big Thompson feeder approximately 800 feet
east to Vista Drive.The Committee recommends approval.
APPA CONTRIBUTION:
Superintendent Dekker presented a request by APPA requesting that each
member contribute 1/4th of one mill per KWH based on 1970 sales to be
used for research and development of Liquid Metal fast breeder reactors.
Contribution for the Town would amount to $474.84.The Committee re
commends approval.
MAPPING ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
Superintendent Dekker reported that an estimated cost proposal is
currently being prepared for up to date mapping of the entire electrical
system.
APPA E &M WORKSHOP:
The Committee recommends sending Superintendent Dekker to an E &M
Workshop to be held in California during February 1972.
LINE EXTENSION POLICY:
Superintendent Dekker advised that a meeting is scheduled on Thursday,
December 9th with PUC of the State of Colorado to discuss the present
extension policy and feasibility of going into a Commercial electric
heating rate.
