Light and Power Committee Meeting

POLE USE AGREEMENT:
Mr.Sweetland reported that the pole use agreement has not been signed
and returned by the Telephone Company.
BILL TO COLORADO STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT:
Mr.Sweetland reported that the bill has been approved by Colorado State
Highway Department project engineer for payment.However,the state
ment is subject to federal audit.
OVERTIME POLICY:
Superintendent Sweetland presented the result of additional study re
lating to the service personnel.
UNDERGROUND WIRING:
The Planning Inspector from Boulder County met with Superintendent
Sweetland and discussed underground service policy to subdivisions.
Mr.Sweetland advised that present policy is to have customer or con
tractor install underground service with meter located on the pole.
FIVE CITY POWER MEETING:
Mr.Sweetland advised the committee of a meeting in Longmont,on
January 28,1970,to discuss progress of the Platte River Municipal
Power Association.
METERING AND UNDERGROUND SCHOOL:
Superintendent Sweetland requested approval to send Meter Reader Lamblin
and Foreman Dekker to school to be held in Fort Collins on January 27,
28 and 29,1970,at a cost of $37.50 per man.The committee recommends
that approval be granted.
APPA WORKSHOP:
Superintendent Sweetland requested approval to send Foreman Dekker to
attend Engineering and Operation Workshop in Phoenix,Arizona,February
2—5,1970 at an approximate cost of $300.00.The committee recommends
that approval be granted.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
