SUBSTATION:
Superintendent Dekker gave the Committee a progress report on substationconstructionandstatedthatcompletionwouldbeapproximatelyJune15,1972.He requested permission to sell the old station structure andswitchgearfortheengineer’s recommended figure of $6,895.00.TheCommitteerecommendsgrantingapprovalforSuperintendentDekkerand TownAdministratorHilltonegotiateandselltheoldstationstructureandswitchgear.
PARKING LOTS:
Superintendent Dekker reported that the wiring for Parking Lot #2 hasbeenconvertedtoundergroundandthatundergroundforlightsshould beinstalledinParkingLot#6 by the week of May 8th.
ADDITIONAL LINEMAN:
Superintendent Dekker requested permission to interview and hire anadditionallineman.The Committee recommends granting permission.
CAMU MEMBERSHIP DUES:
Superintendent Dekker reported that dues at the rate of $25.00 per yearhavenotbeencollectedforthepastthreeyears.However,a need forfundshasarisenandCAMLJisrequestingthatduesbepaiduptodate.The Committee recommends paying dues for three years.
PRNPA:
Superintendent Dekker reported that Fort Morgan has withdrawn as a participatingmemberleavingfourcitiesintheorganizationtosecureadditionalpowerby1976.Superintendent Dekker also advised that a financingdecisionwillberequiredby?RNPA in the near future.
SYSTEM MAPPING:
Superintendent Dekker reported that plans are being made to map theentireelectricalsystem.The 1972 Light and Power budget has $3,500.00designatedforthatpurpose.
PUC HEARING:
Town Administrator Hill and Superintendent Dekker attended the PUC hearingconcerningREA’s acquisition of Big Elk Meadows territory.Adecisionwillberenderedinthenearfuture.
