TRUCK BIDS: The following bids were received for a 1—ton pickup: $5,405.36 w/o trade (bid included 8—ply tires) $5,418.25 w/o trade (bid included 10-ply tires) Robert Dekker commented that the Light &Power Department could use the “trade—in”vehicle for hauling branches,dirt,etc.if a flat bed were obtained for it.The Committee recommends keeping the vehicle and obtaining a flat bed for it and then accepting Estes Park Ford’s bid excluding a trade—in for $5,418.25. Bids were also received for a 3/4 ton pickup as follows: Dodge $5,213.52 w/trade C-200 Ford $4,852.09 w/trade The Committee recommends accepting Estes Pa of $4,852.09. REPORTS: A.SURPLUS EQUIPMENT -The two forklifts and jeep have arrived and are in good working condition. B.PRPA —If the new power plant site is located in Weld County, an agreement will be required in which PRPA would have to pay for the impact of the plant on governmental services.
