UNDERGROUND DISTRIBUTION LINE -TALLANT PARK TO TWIN OWLS:
Miner and Miner,Consulting Engineers,Inc.,submitted an engineering
proposal to design the underground project of the distribution line
from Tallant Park to Twin Owls.The amount proposed is approximately
$900-$1,500.The total cost of the project is estimated to be $16,400.
The Committee recommends accepting Miner and Minerts proposal.
TALLANT PARK SUBSTATION -SCREENING:
The Committee reviewed and discussed three more screening designs in
volving trees for the Tallant Park Substation.The possibility of a
berm surrounding the substation was also discussed but found to be Un—
feasible due to drainage problems.Chairman Petrocine tabled the matter
for further study.
REPORTS:
MARYS LAKE SUBSTATION -The environmental reports for the Marys
Lake Substation project should be completed and compiled by May
23rd.Review of the reports by the Bureau of Reclamation will
take 40 -45 days provided they can be approved at a regional
level rather than the federal level.
APPRENTICE LINEMAN -Robert 3.Fish has been hired as an appren
tice lineman and will begin work in early June.
SHOP ADDITION -A building permit is currently being obtained for
the new addition to the Light &Power Shop.
There being no further business,the meeting was adjourned.
