RATE INCREASE ORDINANCE:
The Committee recommends adoption of the ordinance proposing an
increase in the Light &Power rates of approximately $.00497 per KWH
for all classes of service.
SMALL POWER RATE:
The Committee recommends eliminating the “Small Power Rate”class
of service and transferring the existing six small power rate accounts
to commercial.Billing amounts will be reduced for some customers
and increased slightly for others.
STREET LIGHTS -QUASEBARTH RESUBDIVISION:
A request was received for street lights in the Quasebartli Resub—
division area.The Committee recommends installing a total of four
street lights on Dunraven and Comanche streets at an approximate
cost of $500.
REPORTS:
PRPA -Director Dekker reported on a meeting of the PRPA Board
concerning the proposed legislation which would place PRPA
under PUC jurisdiction and require PRPA Board members to be
elected at large.
Director Dekker also stated that the 1978 budget for Platte
River Power Authority will be approximately $49 million.
MARYS LAKE SUBSTATION -The excavation of the Marys Lake Sub
station site has been completed and building will begin soon.
