MARYS LAKE SUBSTATION -CONSTRUCTION BIDS:
The following bids were received for the construction of the Marys
Lake Substation:

R.A.Reither 251,052.24 74,277.00 $325,329.24
Brink 251,708.00 102,927.00 $354,635.00
Knox 260,934.00 117,233.00 $378,167.00
The Committee recommends accepting R.A.Reither’s bid of $325,329.24.
The total cost of the substation project is estimated to be $460,000.
RATE STUDY:
The Committee reviewed the rate study by R.W.Beck &Associates which
recommends a 13.1%retail rate increase in order to cover the January
1978 purchased power increase.The Committee recommends accepting
the study’s recommendations and proceeding with the P.U.C.filing for
the rate increase.
REPORTS:
SHOP ADDITION —The final contract cost for the new shop addition
totaled $22,038.$23,000 was budgeted for the addition.
RAWHIDE PUBLIC HEARING -At the request of the Colorado Land Use
Commission,the County Commissioners have agreed to hold another
public hearing regarding the designation of the Rawhide project
as a matter of state interest on October 25th.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
