FWDRO PLANT -MISCELLANEOUS REPAIRS:
Several leaks have developed in the roof of the hydro plant.Five
repair cost estimates were obtained and Loveland Roofing’s estimate
at $868 was the lowest.The Committee recommends that Loveland
Roofing be hired to repair the roof.
About twenty feet of foundation of the small house next to the hydro
plant is also in need of repair along with some sidewalk sections and
steps.The estimated cost of repair is $600.The Committee recommends
approval.
PROJECTION OF POWER REQUIREMENTS:
Light &Power Director Bob Dekker recommended the Town obtain its own
power need projection in addition to the oneprepared by PRPA to further
substantiate Estes Park’s power requirements to the County Commissioners
and general public.The Committee recommends obtaining R.W.Beck and
Associates to prepare the projection.
REPORTS:
ENERGY AND MAN’S ENVIRONMENT -Due to a conflict with a public
hearing on the Rawhide project on November 29th,the Committee
will postpone its meeting with the School Board until December
or January to discuss the Energy and Man’s Environment program.
METER TEST BOARD has arrived and is in operation.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
