CABLEVISION PERMIT FEES:
The Committee recommends to the Board of Trustees that Section 5.24.100
“Fees to be paid”,be amended to provide the permit fee to be changed
from the existing 2%of gross revenues to $2.50 per account per year.
The quarterly payment schedule shall remain the same.Based on an
estimated 390 urban accounts,the annual permit fee will amount to
about $975.
PUC GENERIC RATE HEARINGS:
Director Dekker reported to the Committee on the orders issued by the
Colorado Public Utilities Commission regarding the Generic Rate pro
ceedings.Portions of the order that will affect Estes Park’s customers
are:
1.Federal Public Utility Regulatory Policy Act of 1978
2.Resource Management —Power Pooling
3.Load Management
4.Costing Methodology
a.Marginal and Average Cost
b.Time-of-day Rates
5.Declining Block Rates
6.All Electric Rates
7.Solar Energy and Heat Storage Rates
The Committee directed the Staff to begin working on the engineering
and legal efforts necessary to comply with the P.U.C.order.
1980 BUDGET:
The first draft of the Light &Power Department budget for 1980 was
reviewed by the Committee.
REPORTS:
The first six months comparisons for electric sales are:

The Rawhide power plant ground breaking will be on September 8th.
