TYPEWRITER -BILLING OFFICE:
The Committee recommends a new typewriter be purchased to replace an
older model presently being used in the billing office.
ENERGY BOOKLET:
The Municipal Energy Savings Association has provided a booklet
entitled “Our Energy Problems and Solutions”to be distributed by
the participating cities.The Committee discussed alternative methods
of distribution as opposed to mailing which will cost 20ç per copy.
One suggestion was to ask the boy scouts to distribute the booklets
to customers while accompanying the Town’s meter readers at an approx
imate cost of 5ç per copy.The Committee authorized the Light &Power
Director to distribute the booklets according to the most feasible
and economical method available.
REPORTS:
THE HYDRO PLANT has begun operation for the summer season.
TWO OF THE THREE LINEMAN positions have been filled.
The City of Longmont has agreed to lease the 76 acre feet of water
to the Town to meet PRPA’s plant construction needs in 1980 at $5
per unit.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
