GLEN HAVEN POWER LINE ROUTE:
Because an easement through the Curry property for the new Glen Haven
power line will probably not be available, the Committee reviewed the
following alternative routes:
Alternative Estimated Cost
#1 Up H-Bar—G Road to the Phillips’property then $32,520 (minimum)
across to Devils Gulch Road $36,320 (maximum)
#2 Through Eagle Rock Ranches to Devils Gulch Road
and continuing underground along Devils Gulch $47,820
Road east to Phillips’property
#3 Same as #2 except the portion along Devils Gulch 29 820Roadwouldbeoverheadlines
Several property owners in the North End area appeared and supported
placing the entire line underground and requested that those portions of
the power line along Devils Gulch Road between H-Bar-G Road and the
switchbacks which are presently overhead also be placed underground.
Letters supporting an underground Glen Haven line were received from
Oliver Schroeder,Don F.Hazlett dated May 1,1981,Ellen Plaut dated
May 2,1981 and Lyn and Dorothy $toyer dated May 2,1981.
The Committee recommends proceeding with Alternative #1 if the necessary
easement can be obtained across the Phillips’property. If this alter
native cannot be pursued, the Committee recommends Alternative #2.
