CLINCH RIVER BREEDER REACTOR PROJECT:
The Committee recommends continuing its participation in the Clinch
River Breeder Reactor Project at an approximate cost of $474 per year.
DEED PROGRAM:
The American Public Power Association offers a program known as Demon
stration of Energy Efficient Developments (DEED)which promotes more
effective ways of providing energy services to consumers of public
power systems.The Committee recommends participating in this program
at an estimated cost of $60 per year.
INFORMATIONAL PROGRAM REGARDING DEMAND CONTROLLERS:
Director Dekker suggested that the Light and Power Department host
a program in which authorities on demand controllers could explain
the use of demand controllers to contractors and all electric customers.
The Committee felt that the program would be most worthwhile and recom
mends proceeding with it.
REPORTS:
Estes Park Cable TV Company has completed the field work necessary
for mapping the cable system and is presently installing new amplifiers.
There being no further business,the meeting adjourned.
