Home My WebLink AboutEPURA RESOLUTION 35100RESOLUTIONNO.351ARESOLUTIONOFTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITHYDESIGNATINGTHETOWNCONVENTIONANDVISITORSBUREAUASADMINISTRATOROFTHENEWTOWNLOGOWHEREAS,theEstesParkUrbanRenewalAuthority(EPURA)hasdevelopedandadoptedalogoandrelatedgraphicsstandardsforuseinEPURAprojects,whichisalsointendedtobemadeavailableforusebytheTownandotherappropriateentities;andWHEREAS,procedurestoregisterthelogoasatrademarkareunderway,aprocessthatwillbecompletedwithinseveralmonths,afterwhichthelogowillbeavailableforgeneraluseasappropriate;and‘WHEREAS,itisnecessarytosetupanadministrativeprocessforapprovaloftheuseofthelogo,toassurethatitsuseisappropriateandtosafeguardagainstinappropriateuse;andWHEREAS,EPURAstaffandConventionandVisitorsBureau(CVB)staffhavediscussedtheapprovalprocessandconcludedthatitwouldbelogicalandhelpfultoEPURAiftheCVBplayedaleadroleinadministeringtheuseofthelogo,aconclusionthatisrecommendedtotheEPURABoard.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTHAT:TheCVBisdesignatedastheprimaryarmoftheTowntoadministertheapprovalordisapprovaloftheuseofthelogobyvariousentitiesrequestingit,withtheappropriateinvolvementofEPURAstaff.TheCVBshallensurethatallapplicablegraphicstandardsbeadheredtoandwilltakeappropriatestepsasnecessarytoprohibittheinappropriateandunauthorizeduseofthelogo.Intheeventrevenuesaregeneratedinthisprocess,EPURAwillbereimburseduptoanamountequivalenttoitsexpendituresrelativetothedevelopmentofthelogo.ADOPTED,this19thdayofMay,2004.ESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITY1/7ChairmanATTEST:’)ecrea
