Home My WebLink AboutEPURA RESOLUTION 32700RESOLUTIONNO.327ARESOLUTIONOfTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYAPPROVINGACONTRACTFORINSTALLATIONANACOUSTICALSYSTEMiNPERFORMANCEPARKWHEREAS,discussionshavetakenplacebetweenEstesParkUrbanRenewalAuthority(EPURA)staffandconsultantsandtheSpecialEventsstaffoftheTownofEstesPark,whereinitwasdeterminedthattheinstallationofabasicacousticalsysteminPerformanceParkwouldbehighlydesirableandinthebestinterestofallusersofthefacility,aswellastheSpecialEventsstaffwhowilloperateandmaintainthefacility;andWHEREAS,Mr.WardDurrettofMountainSongMusic,aprofessionalacousticalconsultantandprovider,hasbeeninterestedandinvolvedintheprojectfromthestart,hasmetwiththedesignteamandunderstandstheacousticalneedsrelativetotheuseofPerformancePark;andWHEREAS,uponrequestMr.DurretthassubmittedacontractproposaltoprocurecomponentsandinstallasoundsystemasapermanentfixtureinPerformanceParkforafeeof$9,327.ThisproposedsystemisdeemedbythearchitectandEPURAstafftobegoodandadequate,butnotelaborate;andWHEREAS,itisthegoalofEPURAtoprovideaqualityandfullyfunctionalfacilityfortheuseandenjoymentoftheresidentsof,andvisitorsto,EstesPark.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTHAT:TheChairmanisherebyauthorizedtoexecutetheabovereferencedcontractonbehalfofEPURA.ADOPTED,this19thdayofMarch,2003.ESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITY/‘/1__)ChairmanATTEST:Secretary
