Home My WebLink AboutEPURA RESOLUTION 291CaRESOLUTIONNO.291ARESOLUTIONOFTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTOALLOCATECERTAINMONIESTOTHEIMPROVEMENTOFTHESTREETSCAPEWITHINTHERIGHT-OF-WAYOFHIGHWAY34ADJACENTTOSTANLEYVILLAGESHOPPINGCENTERWHEREAS,theEstesParkUrbanRenewalAuthorityhasestablishedastreetscapethemeconsistingofdecorativelighting,hardscapeandlandscapingthathasenhancedthefunctionalityandaestheticimprovementoftheTown,aswellasapedestriancirculationsystemthatworkstotheTown’sadvantage;andWHEREAS,StanleyCommercialDevelopment,LLLP,ownerandmanagerofStanleyVillageShoppingCenterhasrequestedconsiderationbyEPURAtoassistinextensionoftheseamenitiestoStanleyVillageShoppingCenter;andWHEREAS,StanleyVillageShoppingCenterisaviable,valuablememberoftheEstesParkbusinesscommunity,iswithintheEstesParkUrbanRenewalArea,isunderitsjurisdictionfordevelopmentreviewandcontributessignificantlytotheTown’seconomicvitality;andWhEREAS,StanleyCommercialDevelopment,LLLPhasbeenimprovingandmaintainingthehighwayright-of-wayatitsownexpenseforanumberofyears.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTHAT:StreetscapeimprovementsshallbeextendedtoStanleyVillageShoppingCenterwithintheright-of-wayofHiglnvay34.Theseimprovementsshallconsistofbermingandhardscapetoalleviatetheilleffectsofroadwaysaltonthelandscapedarea,approximatelysevendecorativestreetlightsalongthewesternperiphery,extensionofelectricalserviceforfestivelightingduringtheholidayseasonandtheextensionoftheexistingwalkwaynorthtoStanleyParkway.TheseimprovementsshallbeconsistentwiththeconceptualplanfortheareapreparedbyDesignStudiosWestdatedOctober26,2000.EPURAfundingshallbeintheamountoftipto$60,000,whichisconsistentwiththepreliminarycostestimatetocompletetheseimprovements.Ithasbeenagreedthatadditionalcosts,ifany,shallbebornebyStanleyVillageCommercialDevelopment,LLLP.ADOPTEDthis17thdayofJanuary,2001.ESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYChairmanATTE:Secietai
