o0RESOLUTIONNO.305ARESOLUTIONOFTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTORETAINTHORPASSOCIATESP.C.ASARCHITECTURALCONSULTANTONDESIGNOFPERFORMANCEPARKWI-IEREAS,workbyDesignStudiosWestisproceedingwellonthedesignofPerformancePark,ahighprioritycomponentoftheWestCorridorPlanasdeterminedbytheBoardofCommissionersoftheEstesParkUrbanRenewalAuthority(EPURA);andWHEREAS,architecturalservicesandadvicearenowneeded,relativetothedesignofthestagearea,protectionfromwindandweatherandrelateddesignelements;andWHEREAS,acontractproposalhasbeenreceivedfromThorpAssociatesP.C.toperformtheneededservicesinatimelymannerforafeenottoexceed$8,000forprofessionalservices,plusreimbursableexpenses,aproposaldeemedresponsiveandreasonablebyEPURAstaffandDesignStudiosWest.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTHAT:TheproposalfromThorpAssociatesP.C.beacceptedandtheEPURAChairmanbeauthorizedtoexecutethecontractforarchitecturalservices.ADOPTED,this19dayofDecember,2001.ESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYChairmanATTEST:I‘,‘.Secretary
