cDRESOLUTIONNO.235ARESOLUTIONOFTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYACCEPTINGAQUOTATIONANDAUTHORIZINGANOTICETOPROCEEDWITHVANHORNENGINEERINGFORENGINEERINGANDSURVEYSERVICESWHEREAS,theEstesParkUrbanRenewalAuthority(Authority),requiresengineeringservicesandpreparationofconstructiondrawingsfortheMoraineAvenueParkingLot;andWHEREAS,theAuthorityrequiressurveyworkforfuturestreetscapedesignonMoraineAvenue;andWHEREAS,theAuthoritysolicitedandreceivedthefollowingquotesforservices:EstesParkSurveyorsNoResponseRockyMountainConsultants$9,100VanHornEngineering$5,960NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTHAT:TheBoardofCommissionersherebyauthorizesVanHornEngineeringtoperformtheengineeringandsurveyworkfortheMoraineAvenueParkingLotandMoraineAvenueStreetscapeSurveyatanot-to-exceedcostof$5,960.ADOPTEDthis18thdayofOctober1995.ESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITY/•/Chairman]ATTEST:Secretary cDREQUESTFORQUOTATIONTheEstesParkUrbanRenewalAuthorityrequestsaquoteforthefollowingservicestobecompletedbeforeJanuary1,1996.TheservicesdesiredinvolvethepreparationofconstructiondrawingsfortheMoraineAvenueParkingLot(MoraineAvenueatDavisStreet).Thesitehasbeensurveyedandagradingplanandsitelayoutprepared.ThesedrawingsareavailableforpickupattheEPURAoffice.Thefollowingadditionaldataisneeded:•DesignofawalltoretainDavisStreet.Determinationofwhetherthiswallisstructuraloronlyaholdingwall.+Designofwallsupporttostabilizetheexistingwallonthewestsideoftheparkinglot.Combinedwiththisissoilretainageofthelottothewestofthiswall.•Inegrationoftheseengineeringsolutionsintotheexistingdrawings.•Preparationofconstructiondrawings,documentsandspecificationsfortheparkinglotconstruction.•Additionalsurveywork--PrepareanExistingConditionsSurveyfortheeastandwestsideofMoraineAvenuefromthesoutherlypropertylineoftheparkinglottoWiestDrive.Includethefollowing:1.Buildingfacadesandentranceswithfinishedfloorevaluationsanddownspoutsandchases.2.Locatedutilitiesandexistingstreetsigns.3.Curbandgutterandexistingflowlineswherenogutterexists.4.Concreteandasphaltlimits.5.Existingdriveways,roadways,sidewalksandretainingwalls.6.Fences,utilities,overheadlines,waterstopboxes,sanitationandtelephoneaccesspoints.7.Existingonstreetparkingandexistinglanelines.8.Establishcenterlinestationswithspotelevationsat50ft.intervalsoncrownofroad/centerline,lanelines,gutterflowline,topofcurbandbackofwalk.ThissurveyinformationshalltietoconstructionworkperformedduringStreetscapeII.Thebaselineshouldtietothebaselineusedforthesurveyandconstruction.
