HomeMy WebLinkAboutEPURA RESOLUTION 233CRESOLUTIONNO.233ARESOLUTIONOFTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTRANSFERRINGOWNERSHIPOFREALPROPERTIESTOTHETOWNOFESTESPARKWHEREAS,theEstesParkUrbanRenewalAuthority(Authority),abodycorporateandpoliticestablishedunderColoradoRevisedStatutehasthepowertoacquirerealestateforpublicusesandpurposes;andWHEREAS,theAuthorityisagovernmentalentityseparatefromtheTownofEstesPark;andWHEREAS,incompliancewiththeEstesParkDowntownRedevelopmentProgram,theAuthorityacquiredpropertyforpublicpurposesanduses;andWHEREAS,theAuthoritydesirestotransferthispropertytotheTownofEstesParktoconsolidatepublicpropertiesunderoneownershipandtoassurestandardmaintenance,administrationandcontrolofsamebytheTown.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTHAT:Inconsiderationoftheadministration,control,operationandmaintenancebytheTownofthefollowingdescribedpublicproperties,theChairmanandSecretaryareauthorizedtosignSpecialWarrantyDeedsinessentiallythesameformsasthecopiesthereofaccompanyingthisResolution,transferringthefollowingpropertiestotheTownofEstesPark:OriginalOwnerPurposeRuthWatsonCleaveStreetParkingLotEstesParkBankCleaveStreetParkingLotMountainStatesTelephone/TelegraphMoraineAvenueCornerSutterTransitCenterConsolidatedbyPlat:RiversidePlazaLaing,etalBoydBenedict,etalBartlettW.WatsonIceHouseParkingLotRamey/BarnettBankMoraineAvenueParkingLotBrough,etal,BarnetBanksWestElkhornParkingLotLorenzWestElkhornParkingLotADOPTEDthis20thdayofSeptember1995.ESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYATTEST:ChairmanSecretary
