HomeMy WebLinkAboutEPURA RESOLUTION 110RESOLUTIONNO.110ARESOLUTIONOFTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYAUTHORIZINGANOPTIONTOPURCHASEPROPERTYFROMUNITEDBANKOFDENVERANDAUTHORIZINGTHEEXECUTIVEDIRECTORTOEXECUTEANAGREEMENTWITHBROWNE,BORTZ&CODDINGTONFORDEVELOPMENTOFTHESITEWHEREAS,theKnollpropertyisownedandofferedforsalebyUnitedBankofDenver;andWHEREAS,developmentofthispropertycouldgreatlyenhancetheaccommodationsandretailmarketcapacityforthecommunity.NOW,THEREFORE,BEITRESOLVEDBYTHEBOARDOFCOMMISSIONERSOFTHEESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYTHAT:1.TheBoardauthorizetheExecutiveDirectortonegotiatea90dayormoreoptiontopurchasetheKnollpropertywithafurtherextensionoftheoption.TheExecutiveDirectorisauthorizedtoexecutesaidoption.2.TheBoardauthorizetheExecutiveDirectortonegotiateanagreementwithBrowne,Bortz&Coddingtontoconductaneconomicmarketanalysisandfinancialfeasibilityassessmentofthesitefordevelopment.3.Totalcostofoptionandagreementshallnotexceed$25,000.00.ADOPTEDthis16thdayofMarch,1989.ESTESPARKURBANRENEWALAUTHORITYChairmanATTEST:try
