HomeMy WebLinkAboutEPURA RESOLUTION 720 0 RESOLUTION NO.72 (Series 1987) A RESOLUTION OF THE ESTES PARK URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF PROPERTY BETWEEN THE AUTHORITY AND THE ESTES PARK AREA HISTORICAL MUSEUM WHEREAS,the Estes Park Area Historical Museum has determined that the building known as Estes Appliance &TV is the original Rocky Mountain National Park headquarters building;and WHEREAS,the Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority has ownership of said building;and WHEREAS,the Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority has no desire to retain said building at its present location;and WHEREAS,the Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority desires that said building be removed;and WHEREAS,the Estes Park Area Historical Museum is a governmental body;and WHEREAS,the Estes Park Area Historical Museum has made a formal request for ownership of said building;and WHEREAS,the Estes Park Area Historical Museum will move said building located at 111 East Riverside Drive,Estes Park,Colorado, off the Estes Park Urban Renewal Authority’s property. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE ESTES PARK URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY THAT: 1.The ownership of the Estes Appliance &TV building (the original Rocky Mountain National Park headquarters)is transferred to the Estes Park Area Historical Museum,subject to the condition that said building be removed prior to May 15,1987.
