RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS
Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Local Planning Commission.
Meeting held in the Town Hall on the 19th day of May, 1959 at 4:00 P.M.

Minutes of the regular meeting held on April 21, 1959 read and approved as read,
Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Lehman appeared before the Commission and filed a request t0
re-zone Lot 20, Lake View Tracts from a R-1 Residence District to a C-2 Comercial
District. C. F. Hix moved that the application be published for a pub^c hewing.
G. H, Gillan seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimou y
Mr. Clarence Jacobson together with Howell Dietrichappeared before ^II^ssion
aSd discussed a tentative plan for the annexation of a ^Jdx^sxon located m-
mediately south of Country Club Manor. Following a lengthy discussion,_C. F. Hix
moved that the Tovm Engineer make a recommendationregardingthe e^ension f
rn foot street extending south from either Avenue A or Avenue B ^d that the pia

C. M. Hunter seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimous y
There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried

Minutes of the regular meeting held on April 21, 1959 read and approved as read.
The Commission discussed the pending application submitted by Mr. K» Singleterry
for the installation of an Archery Range to be located on the Stanley Hotel
property. In accordance with the recommendation of Trafton Bean and acting under
Section 14A of the Zoning Ordinance, C. M. Hunter moved that the application be
approved, C. A. Law seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion xinanimously
carried.
The Commission, together with Trafton Bean, reviewed the Zoning Ordinance re
garding individual trailers and also the possibility of re-zon^g to provide
for trailer camps. Chairman Connelly named the following committee to present
a proposal for possible changes in the ordinance: C. M. Hunter, Trafton Bean
and Joe Connelly,
In discussing the time required by the Commission in reviewing preliminary plats,
C. F. Hix moved that in the future all plats to be considered by the Commssion
be filed with the secretary at least one week prior to the meeting. G. H, Gxllan
seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and carried
that the meeting adjourn.
