Meeting held in the Town Hall on the 20th day of January, 1959 at 4:00 P.M. Present;C. M. Hunter, Chairman, N. L. Bartlett, R. C. Brodie, Charles Hix Also Present;Verne H. Fanton, Secretary Absent;G, H. Gillan, Charles Herzog, C. A. Law Minutes of the regular meeting held on Decanber l6, 1958 read and approved as read. In accordance with Public Notice published, the Commission proceeded to conduct a public hearing regarding the request to re-zone Lots 7, 8, 9 of Buenna Vista Re-Subdivision. Mr. R. L. McConnell and Mr. Paul McKelvey appeared op^ing the request. The Secretary read a petition signed by eleven property in the Buenna Vista Re-Subdivision protesting the f 0P0saJ-p^, with a letter from property owner T. C. Stauffer bIso protesting . Thera being no support tor the proposal with the 01 “V bkS N. L. Bartlett moved that the petition to re-zone be denied. R. C. Brodie seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carrie . Mr and Mrs. J. F. Lehman appeared before the Commission and filed a request to have Lots 21 and 22 of Lake View Tracts re-zoned from the existing Residence Mltrict tfa^-a Restricted Commercial District. Following discussion, C. F. Hix Suce be publishen that Oc-ission hearing on the request at the next regular meeting. N. L. Bartlett motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. The Secretary presented the request of E. F. Sanders to vacate the street in^ University Heights Subdivision th^ Pr?sf p^^perty o^S°trth; sL^h stating was read from Mrs. Edith B. Manford being the P^P®^also that she that she had no objections to the PJ^^sal °h^a®&gt Qf University Heists in had no objection to extending the stree . . Mall Also Present; Verne H. Fanton, Secretary Absent; G. H. Gillan, Charles Herzog, C. A. Law Minutes of the regular meeting held on December 16, 1958 read and approved as read. Mr. Howell Dieterich appeared before the Commission and submitted a final plat designated as Glacier View Subdivision located in Section 35 and immediately south of the Reid Subdivision. All streets in the subdivision were fixed at a minimum width of 50 feet as recommended by the Commission. C. F. H^ movea that the Commission recommend that the plat be approved and that the Larimer County Planning Commission be informed that 700 feet of the existing acce^s, road to the above subdivision is only 20 feet in width. In discussing the access road to the Glacier View Subdivision, the Secretapr was instructed to write to Larimer County Planning Commission suggest^g the possibility of the County Subdivision Regulations being amended ^ °rdeJ* t0 attempt to acquire adequate rights-of-ways for access to new platted sub­ divisions. The Secretary presented an application for a permit for the const^ction and use of a Concrete Products and Ready-mx Plant at the Fulton Construction Company Machine Shops submitted by C. M. Fulton. The Secretary Imported that the application had been submitted to the County Attorney thro^h George Libert, County Building Inspector and that the application had been referred hackto this Commission for action. The Commission discussed theappiicationindetai! and particularly Paragraph D of Section 15 of the Area ^ ;o The Commission was not able to interpret the Ordinance as it i^ghtapply to this application and instructed the Secretary to forward the application to the Larimer County Commission for action.
