Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Logal Planning Commission
Meeting held in the Toim Hall on the 20th day of October, 1959 at 4:00 P.M,

The Secretary read a letter asking that Lot 31 of Riverside Sub-Division be
re-zoned from existing »R 2 Multiple Family Residence District" to '• C 1

There being no further business to come before the meeting it was rerularlr

Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Regional Planning Commission
Meeting held in the Tovm Hall on the 20th day of October, 1959 at 4:00 P.M.

Minutes of the regular meeting held on September 15, 1959 were read and approved
as read.
In the absence of Chairman Joe Connelly, Vice Chairman N. L, Bartlett opened the
meeting and proceeded to conduct a public hearing regarding re-zoning..The
secretary reported that legal publication had been complied with regarding
re-zoning the folloirjing described area from existing "Tourist District" to
"E 1 Estate District":
That all of the land North of the present High
Drive Road and West of the Sterling Cottages
and South of the North boundary of Section 26
and East of the West boundary of Section 26
A petition ;-ias read supporting the proposal signed by thirteen (13) persons
representing themselves to be property owners of the area involved. Nine (9)
persons were present supporting the proposal. There were no persons present
opposing the proposal. The Secretary read a letter from John B, LaNier, a
property owner in the area, requesting that a strip of land adjoining the High
Drive Road fo^ hundred (400) feet in length and one thousand (1000) feet in
depth remain in "Tourist District"* All correspondence having been read and
persons present having been heard, C, M, Hixnter moved that this Commission
recommend that the above described property be re-zoned from "Tourist District"
to "E 1 Estate District" vdth the exception and providing that the 400 foot
frontage owned by John B, LaNier remain in "Tourist District", Charles Herzog
seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business to come before the Commission at this time, it
was regularly moved, seconded and carried that the meeting adjourn.
