Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Local Planning Commission*
Meeting held In the Town Hall, on April l6th, 7:30 P*M.
Present: G-.H. Gillan, Chairman, Charles F* Hix, C.A. Law, G-lenn Prosser.
Also Present: Trafton Bean, Planning Consultant, Verne H. Fanton, Secretary
Absent: Ronald Brodie, Charles Herzog, E.R. Smith.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on March 26th, read and approved.
Mr. A.D. Jones of Denver, together with his Engineer, Mr. Sutherland,
appeared before the Commission and presented a subdivision plat, located
in the South East Quarter of Sec. 3^, and ask that it be approved for
annexation to the Town. Mr. Paul Van Horn, Town Engineer, appeared and
stated that the proposed nlat met the engineering requirments in all respects.
The Commission discussed the possibility of additional ground being dedicated
to the Town, North of the Subdivision, for public use. The Comission
stated that provision should be made to increase the width of the right oi
way on the through street of the subdivision to 80 feet, also t^at Pr°J°sed
street names might be conflicting with established names. Mr.
informed that the Commission and the Planning Consultant would study the
proposal and consider it at the next meeting to be held on April 23rd.
The Secretary reported that Mr. E.H. Sanders had been in1,0™®4. ted
application to close the public road through 1x18 ^a^0b!he East? ’and that he now asks that the right-of-way be moved JO feet to the East.
The Commission being of the opinion that it o?tabresidence 1Charles

Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.

The subdivision plat of the area North of the Tovm dump ±stE
designated as "Larimer Terminals", was re-submitted to the Commission
for approval. All changes, as recommended the Commission, Having
been complied with, Glenn Prosser moved that it be approved. ^Harles
HiR' seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carrie .
The Secretary reported that the State Highway Department would conduct
a public hearing, at the Town Hall, on the 25th day of April, regarding
the proposed Estes Park By—Pass on U.S. 3^^*
Trafton Bean submitted a form for application for building permits in
District No. 3. With one correction, the Commission approved the form.
The balance of the meeting was devoted to a discussion,
