Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Local Planning Commission*
Meeting held in the Town Hall on November 20, 1956 at 7:30 P.M*
Present: Charles F. Hix, Chairman, G.H. Gillan, Charles Herzog, C*A. Lav?,

Minutes of the regular meeting held on October l6, read and approved.
Property o:mers in the University Heights area including Mr. Miller,
Maize Howell and Brovm, appeared before the Commission regarding their

The Commission discussed the fact that notice v:as being published for a
pubMc hearing regarding the formation of the Fish Creek Plo-nning Distri t.
The Commission suggested that Mr. Trapon Bean att®5path?hataIccording presenting this Commission. The Commission also noted^ ato the nublication, it 'was not clear v:hether the proposed District be fse^eratflnrindlvidual District, or whether
o.y.p o011Tntv Planning Commission. The Secretary was instructed to write

that any new Districts in the area should be administered by the County
Planning Commission.
A letter was read to the Commleelon signed by property oOTers of the area,
asking that the road extending North fron highway # 262 Eas^ of
Beaver Point, be assigned a name and designated as such. The oommission
designated the road to be knovm as Elm Road .
In accordance with the request. Chairman Hix ®^?gnfoJ°ponaldto serve on the County Planning Commission, as an alternate for Ponaia
Griffith. The Commission approved the appointment.
