In accordance vrith the action taken by the Board of Trustees of the
Tovm of Estes Park at their regular meeting held on the 24th day of
November, 194?, relating to the appointment of a Board of Adjustment
to enforce Ordinance No. 115 (An Ordinance Zoning The Tovm of Estes
Park, Colorado), the duly appointed members of the Board of Adjustment
met. In conformity with law, at the Town Hall, on Friday, April 30th,
1948, at 3:00 o*clock P.M.
The following members were present: C.V/arren Chapman, Claude A.
Davis, Charles F. Hlx, Bert J. McConnell, F.E. V/illiamson.
Absent: None.
Chas. F. Hlx moved that Calude A. Davis be elected Chairman of
the Board. C. Warren Chapman seconded the motion. Upon roll call
said motion unanimously carried.
Ohlrmsn Davis appointed Verne H. Fanton, Secretary to the Board
and Deputy Inspector. The Board approved the appointment.
The Board reviewed and discussed the present Zoning Ordinance,
placed special emphasis on the use of land and buildings within the
eoned areas, Informed the Secretary to require applications, permits
and certificates of occupancy for all new construction, additions,
and new use of property, and ordered all possible publicity given to
the enforcement of the zoning Ordinance.
Polldwlng a discussion regarding the area along the South St.
Vraln Highway, the Sedretary was Instructed to prepare tentative
zoning plans to be considered at the next meeting.

With the approval of the Board, Chairman Davis announced that
the regular meeting dates of the Board would be on the second and
fourth Wednesdays of each month at 3:00 o*clock P.M.
There being no further business to come before the Board,
the meeting adjourned* /O
