Minutes of the July 17, 1985 meeting and minutes of the July 26 and
July 30 special meetings were approved.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Circulation - Director Anderson reported that three informational
meetings regarding the Special Improvement District were held last
week.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
River Corridor Improvements - Master Plan - This matter was tabled
from the July 26 meeting. Director Anderson stated that his
recommendation of July 24 is still valid and that this study should
be implemented immediately. Commissioner Frantz agreed and moved
that Staff be directed to prepare a bidder's list, a Request for
Proposal, and, bids be obtained. Commissioner Pauley seconded the
motion and it passed unanimously.
STAFF:
Director Anderson reported that upon a request from Police Chief
Ault, Staff borrowed a bike rack from the Park school system and
Public Works installed it at the far end of the Nagl Walkway. The
rack will be returned to the school by August 30.
EPURA Staff will be attending the 6th Annual Governor's Main Street
Conference in Grand Junction.
Cards of sympathy were sent to Mrs. Tregent at the loss of her
husband, Jennie Emerson (Finance Department) at the loss of her
Father, and a get well card to Bob Richards, Water Department
Superintendent who is now recuperating at home.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
