Attorney David Wood appeared before the Commission representing the Estes Area
Merchants Association and spoke in opposition to the proposed ordinance, stating
it was uninterpretable, unreasonable and unenforceable. Mr. Wood further stated
the proposal denies "due process of law" and does not give adequate notice for the
removal of signs. I
Secretary Hill read a letter from the Colorado Book Store in favor of the adoption
of the sign code ordinance. There was no correspondence received in opposition.
Chairman Prosser declared the hearing closed.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
