Wood Attending: Chairman Sager, Members Blair, Hix, Komito, Houston, Wood Also Attending: Planner Cole, Secretary Hill Absent: Member Craig Meusel Minutes of the Planning Commission meetings held June 21 and July 5, 1983 were adopted. PEAK VIEW REZONING: Member Blair moved the public hearings on the proposed resoning of Peak View Subdivision from R-1 to R be scheduled. Planning Commission - August 16th at 1:30 P.M. Board of Trustees - August 23rd at 7:30 P.M. Member Blair moved that the Planning Commission find the following facts with respect to the petition: 1. BRADFORD PUBLISHING CO.» DENVER RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS Estes Park Planning Commission - July .19, 1983 - Page 2 MOCASSIN, CYTEWORTH, RIVERSIDE REZONING; Chairman Sager preceded to open a public hearing on a petition to rezone from R-2 to R-1 Lots 1 through 11 and a portion of Lot 13 Mocassin Addition; Lots 1 and 2, Cyteworth Resubdivision; and all of Lots 21 through 25, Riverside Subdivision. Mr. Todd Plummer of Van Horn Engineering representing_the petitioners _ explained the request and spoke in favor of the rezoning. Others speaking in favor of the rezoning were: Mr. D.R. Newton, 305 Park View Lane, Lot 10 Park View Sub. Mr. Galen Parrack, 315 Park View Lane, Lot 9 Park View Sub. Mr, Leonard Savory, 319 Park View Lane, Lot 8 Park View Sub. Mr. Frank Gunter, 245 Cyteworth Dr., Lots 1 & 2, Cyteworth Sub. There were no persons present opposing the rezoning. Chairman Sager entered the petition for rezoning into the record. Letters from the Town Planner dated 7/14/83 and Mr. George Houtzinger dated 7/14/83 were read into the record. ESTES PARK COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE: Planner Barbara Cole reported on the statue of the Estes Park Community Cooperative. BUDGET 1984: The Planning Commission discussed the following in reference to the Town’s 1984 budget: 1. A.P.A. Conference in Minneapolis, Mn.
