Minutes of the July 21, 1981 Planning Commission meeting were submitted
and approved.
E-1 ESTATE ZONING DISTRICT AMENDMENTS - PUBLIC HEARING:
Chairman Sager conducted a public hearing on the proposed ordinance
amending the E-1 Estate zoning district provisions to prohibit guest
houses, offices of a physician, dentist or musician, all uses by Special
Review, and to specify setback and floor area per dwelling requirements.
Ed Green spoke in favor of the proposed ordinance and John Gaskill,
Bertha West, Doris Walsh, John Roberts and Lorraine Roberts asked
several questions regarding the proposed changes. No persons appeared
speaking in opposition. Correspondence regarding the proposed amendments
was received from the following:

Diane Marie Andersen Marianna Batt
Charles & Dorothy Baumgardner
Petition containing 25 signatures
Chairman Sager declared the hearing closed. Member Richard Wood moved
the ordinance be favorably recommended to the Board of Trustees. Member
Hix seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
REZONING - LOT 2, WHITE MEADOW VIEW PLACE - SET PUBLIC HEARING:
Member Duane Blair moved the following public hearings be scheduled
for a rezoning request of Lot 2, White Meadow View Place from C-2 to
C-1:

Member Houston seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
REZONING - PORTION OF LONE PINE ACRES FROM R-1 TO R:
Member Margaret Houston moved the following public hearings be scheduled
for a request to rezone portions of Lone Pine Acres First Addition
from R-1 to R:
Planning Commission .... September 15, 1981
Board of Trustees..................September 22, 1981
Member Wood seconded the motion. The motion passed by the following
votes: Those voting "Yes" Members Duane Blair, George Hix, Margaret
Houston, Richard Wood, Al Sager. Those voting "No" none. Member
Burgess abstained with permission from the Commission.
SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS - AMENDMENTS:
Town Engineer/Planner Widmer reviewed with the Planning Commission

several changes to the Subdivision regulations which were recommended
by the Planning Commission in 1980 but never completed due to a change
in Town Attorneys. The proposed changes include amending the radius
and length requirements of cul-de-sacs, adding preliminary and final
plat requirements, adding street paving requirements, updating the
language, and revising the improvements section. Member Houston moved
the Planning Commission recommend to the Board of Trustees that the
Municipal Code be amended to include these changes. Member Blair
seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
1982 BUDGET REQUESTS;
Member Duane Blair moved the following requests be submitted to the
Board of Trustees for consideration in the 1982 budget:
1. Attendance at the Governor's Annual Main Street
Conference in 1982 for Planning Commission Members
and the Town Engineer/Planner.
2. Attendance at the American Planning Association
Conference in 1982 by the Town Engineer/Planner.
3. Economic feasibility study regarding Stanley
Park expansion, river front areas and conference-
convention facilities.

Member Wood seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
