Chairman Sager officially welcomed George Hix as a new member of the Planning Commission. ROMER ADDITION - SET PUBLIC HEARINGS REGARDING ZONING: Member James H. Swickard moved the following scheduled lor consideration of the zoning of the proposed Romer Addition. Planning Commission Board of Trustees . Member James H. Swickard moved the preliminary plat of East Park Sub­ division be denied. Member Blair seconded the motion and upon roll call the motion passed by the following votes: Those Hi Members Swickard, Blair, Rumley, Sager. Those voting No Members Hix, Graves, Houston. LOT SPLIT - DEER CREST SUBDIVISION (PORTION TRACT 58, FALL RIVER ADDITION), Bill Van Horn, representing the Rohrbaughs presented the Deer Crest Subdivision which proposes to divide a Portion of Tract Addition into two parcels of 1.40 acres and 14 79 acres. That there are special circumstances or conditions affecting the property; 2. That the exception is necessary for the preservation and the enjoyment of a substantial property right of the petitioners; 3. That the granting of the exception will not be materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to other property in the neighborhood in which the property of the petitioners is situated or in conflict with the purposes and objectives of Title 16 of the Municipal Code.
