The minutes of the May 15, 1979 Planning Commission meeting were sub
mitted and approved.
BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT - LOTS 2 & 3, JAMES Me INTYRE SUBDIVISION
Bill Van Horn, representing owners Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Brink, pre
sented the amended plat of Lots 2 and 3, James McIntyre Subdivision
to better correspond with existing improvements. Letters regardi g
the plat were received from the following.

EUGENE SMITH EXEMPTION - Mrs. Helen Smith appeared representing her
exemption request to divide approximately 64 acres into two tracts
located on Devils Gulch Road just south of Glen Haven. There was some
confusion as to whether an exemption or a variance was being requested.
Member Swickard moved that the Planning Commission not take any action
because the property is located outside of the geographical area of
the Comprehensive Plan and beyond an area that the Planning Commission
felt it should issue recommendations.
SWITZER VARIANCE REQUEST - Phil Switzer appeared on behalf of his
request for a variance to allow a single family dwelling in an A-
Accommodations zone. He proposes to build a residence on 74 acres
located just west of Marys Lake Road and south of Upper Broadview Road.
Member Duane Blair moved the variance be favorably recommended to the
Larimer County Board of Adjustment. Member Swickard seconded the
motion and upon roll call the motion unanimously carried,
CONDOMINIUM PROJECT PROPOSED BY WITTEBORG IN SUMMER VILLA SUBDIVISION:
Mr. Pepper Witteborg presented his plans for a condominium project to
be located on the south portion of Lot 7, Summer Villa Subdivision,
He proposes seven duplex units on the three acres which will be sold
as condominiums. The zoning presently is T-Tourist and he inquired as
to the Planning Commission's reaction to the parcel being rezoned to
R-2 Residential to allow this project. The members of the Planning
Commission indicated they would be in favor of the rezoning to allow
the project as proposed by Mr. Witteborg.
LARIMER COUNTY PROBATION OFFICER LETTER:
Chairman Sager presented a letter he received from the Larimer County
Probation Officer dated May 14, 1979 in which it was requested that the
Planning Commission consider and evaluate growth's effect on crime and
to plan for increases in crime particularly regarding the need lor
holding and shelter facilities.
