the street right-of-way. A letter dated February 12, 1979 was received
from the Town Engineer/Planner. Member Duane Blair moved that Special
Review Request #22 as amended be favorably recommended to the Board of
Trustees. Member Swickard seconded the motion and upon roll call the
motion unanimously carried.
MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENTS;
Member Jack T. Rumley moved that the Municipal Code be amended to include the following:
1. Add to Section 17.68.060 a minimum lot area of 9,000 square
teet for a single family dwelling in a non-conforming R-1 residential zone,

The "Traffic Safety Study" will inventory roads in several municipalities
and Larimer and Weld Counties, review recorded accidents, identify hazard
areas, and submit recommendations to improve the safety in these hazard
areas. The "Transit Development Program" study will study individual
municipalities and determine transit plans for the future.
REPORTS:
Rocky Mountain National Park has agreed to revise the sign at the Deer
Ridge Junction which directs traffic to both routes to Estes Park.
The State Highway Department has agreed to conduct a preliminary traffic
light study at the intersection of Elkhorn Avenue and Virginia Drive
this summer.
