It was moved, seconded and carried the minutes of September 22, 1975
be approved.
MASTERPLAN:
Bob Lord of Lord and Associates appeared before the Planning Commission
requesting official action to be taken on [the land use plan which was
presented at the September 24, 1975 public meeting. He stated that
following acceptance by the Planning Commission, the land use plan will
be presented to the County Commissioners. j Member Blair moved the land
use plan be accepted. Member Steele seconded the motion. Upon roll
call the motion unanimously carried.
EPSD - FEDERAL GRANT:
A request for a federal grant in the amount of $91,000 was submitted
to the Planning Commission for its review land recommendation by the
Estes Park Sanitation District. Member Steele moved the Planning Com
mission recommend that the request be granted. Member Hix seconded
the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
NPS - TRANSPORTATION STUDY - PHASE II:

Two representatives of the URS Company made a presentation of the Rocky
Mountain National Park transportation study; Phase I was reviewed then
followed by a summary of a visitor use questionnaire analysis. The
visitor use survey was taken from August 15th through August 19th in an
attempt to determine the attitudes, habits and characteristics of people
visiting the Bear Lake area and to determine possible characteristics
of the proposed Glacier Basin - Bear Lake[transit system. A copy of
the visitor use survey along with Phase Ijfinal report and a report en
titled "Experience Opportunities" were submitted to the Planning Com
mission for its review. }
CANAIY SUBDIVISION - FINAL PLAT:
The final plat of the Canaiy Subdivision was submitted to the Planning
Commission for its consideration. Member I Blair moved the final plat
be recommended to the Board of Trustees for approval. Member Steele
seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.
DAVID L. HART - LAND DIVISION - LOT 37, WHITE MEADOW VIEW PLACE:
Tom Brown represented David Hart stating that the land division involved
a rearrangement of the property line between the Hart property and the
Knox property. Member Steele moved the land division be recommended to
the Board of Trustees for approval. Member Hix seconded the motion.
Upon roll call the motion unanimously carried.

BAKER - REZONING - TRACT 20, FALL RIVER ADDITION;

A petition submitted by Verl and Leo V. Baker requesting a zoning
change from R-Residential to R-2 Multi-Family Residential of Tract 20,
Fall River Addition was presented to the Planning Commission. The
public hearing date for the rezoning request was set for November 18,
1975. I
PEARSON - REZONING - LOT 31, MANFORD ADDITION;
A petition submitted by Dave Pearson requesting a zoning change from
R-1 Residential to R-2 Multi-Family Residential of Lot 31, Manford
Addition was presented to the Planning Commission. The petition as
submitted contained conflicting information. The public hearing date
for the rezoning request was set for November 18, 1975 upon clarifica
tion of the petition.
MOWERY AND RUDEL - ZONING REQUEST FOR PRESCHOOLS;
A letter from Sherry Mowery and Sheroll Rudel requesting that pre
schools and day care centers be allowed in residential zones was sub
mitted to the Planning Commission for its review. The request was
referred to the Town's Planning Consultants, Lord and Associates, for
their study and recommendation as part of
BILL LAMONT - PUD ZONING CHANGES:
the Comprehensive Plan.
A letter was received from Bill Lamont suggesting that the PUD concept
be extended to the C-1, C-2, E-1 and E-2 zoning districts. Member
Sager moved that the letter be referred to the Town Planner to study
the possibility. Member Steele seconded -t:he motion. Upon roll call
the motion unanimously carried. !
