Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Regional Planning Commission, Meeting held
in the Tovm Hall on the 17th day of Augi:ist, I965, at 4:00 P.M,
Present: N.T, Petrocine, Acting Chairman, Louis Canaiy] Chas. F Hix, L.F. Flower,
Clarence Gillett, Dr, J,0, Mall, James Bissell, V,H, Fanton, Secretary
Absent: Harry Miles, R,C, Brodie, Carl Swanson, Val Bernard,
Minutes of the regular meeting held on July 20, read and approved as read.
The Secretary read a petition signed by 23 property owners in Stanley Heights,
Addition "B" requesting that the Subdivision be rezoned from the existing R 1
Residence District to a E 1 Estate District, Louis Canaiy moved that public
notice be given that the Commission would consider the request at the next
regular meeting, James Bissell seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion
unanimously carried,

Mrs, Ray Tidd appeared befifire the Commission and presented a plat entitled
"Carriage Hills, 3rd Filing" and ask that it be given final approval. Following
discussion, Chas. Hix moved that the Commission recommend the filing for final
approval. Dr, Mall seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carri
Mr, M,G, Church, Registered Surveyer, appeared before the Commission and presented
a plat, entitled "Ponderosa Subdivision" and ask that it be given final approval,
Clarence Gillett moved that the plat be given final approval, subject to the
approval of the County Sanitation Dept, James Bissell seconded the motion.
Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.

SYKES
A group of 10 property owners in Belview Heights appeared before the Commission,
protesting the operation of a camper and trailer court adjacent to their property
on Highway // 34, East of the Village, The Commission again reviewed the problem
and stated that in their opinion it was in violation of the County Zonir^
Resolution and that they had informed Larimer County accordingly. Since Larimer
County had taken no action to date, James Bissell moved that this Commission
ask the Estes Park Town Board for any assistance they might be able to give
in abating this nusiance. Dr. Mall seconded the motion. Upon roll call said
motion unanimously carried.

It was brought to the attention of the Commission that the County Board of
Adjustment would not act on the request of Mr. George Sykes until this Commission
had denied his request. The Secretary was informed to notify Mr. Sykes accordingly.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
