Minutes of a regular meeting of The Estes Park Regional Planning Commission,
held in the Tovm Hall on February l6, 1965, at 4:00 P.M*
Present:

Harry Miles, Chairman, N.T. Petroclne, Carl Swanson, Val Bernard,
Clarence Gillett, Dr.J.O. Mall, Howard Stewart, James Blssell.
Verne H. Fanton, Secretary.
Absent: Louis Canaly, L.F. Flower.
Minutes of the regular meeting held on January 19, read and approved.
Mr. E.B. Padon, Registered Engineer, presented the final plat of the First
Filing, of Carriage Hills Subdivision, (formerly Sanborn Acres) and ask that
it be given final approval. The Secretary reported that the County Health
Sanitarian had given approval of the proposed water and sewage systems.
The plat appearing to be in order, James Blssell moved that it be given final
approval. Val Bernard seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion
unanimously carried.

Mr. Padon then presented a preliminary plat of the second filing of the
Carriage Hills subdivision and ask that it be given preliminary approval.
After reviewing the plat. Dr. Mall moved that it be given preliminary approval
N.T. Petroclne seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously
carried. !

Mr. Ronald Harris, Registered Engineer, presented a final plat of the Estes
Park Estates Subdivision, lodated in the Pinewood Springs area, and ask that
it be given final approval. The Commission discussed in detail the proposed
water supply. As a result. Dr. Mall moved that the plat be given final
approval, providing, provision guaranteeing adequate water supply be entered
on the face of the plat. Clarence Gillett seconded the motion. Upon roll
call said motion unanimously carried.
Mr. Gordon Alderfer, Director of the Estes Park Center for Education, appeared
and introduced Mr. James Miles, of the Colorado Division of Commerce and
Development. Mr. Miles gave a detail report on the possibility of long range
planning for the Community and fringe areas, the need to update present
zoning and future land use, and possible federal funds available. ?The
Commission stated that they would study the possibility of such a program.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
