Minutes of the regular meeting held on October 19, 1965, read and approved.

Chairman Miles called the meeting to order and stated that the Commission would
proceed to conduct a public hearing regarding the proposal to re-zone the Country
Club Estates Subdivision from the present R 1 Residence District to a E 1 Estate
District, The Secretary reported that Public Notice had been complied with.
The Chairman stated that persons present in favor of the re-zoning would be heard,
I'lr, Edward Bums spoke supporting the proposal and filed a petition and letters
signed by 23 property owners supporting the proposal. The Secretary reported
that the following persons had contacted him and ask that their names be with-drawn
from the petition: Mrs, William Wilson, Merl Morehead, Mr, & Mrs, Carl Roby,
and Mrs, Chas, Tayler, The following persons spoke opposing the proposal:
Merl Morehead, Carl Roby, 0,K, Rich, Allyn Hanks and John Ramey, Following
additional detail discussion, individual members of the Commission expressed the
opinion that the proposed E 1 Estate District was not exactly compatible with
this sub-division and that it might be feasable to consider creating a new District
that would apply to this and other sub-divisions, Carl Swanson moved that further
study be given to the proposal, Chas, Hix seconded the motion. Upon roll call
said motion unanimously carried.

Chaiman Miles stated that the Commission would proceed to consider the request
of Mr, Frank Williams to install and operate a "Go Cart" tract on Hi^way // 66
2 miles West of Estes Paik, The Secretary reported that notice had been published
that the request would be considered at this meeting, Mr, Frank Williams spoke
supporting the request. The following persons spoke opposing the request:
Mrs, Blanchar, Mrs, Loyd Williams, Earl McMillen, Margaret Booz, Mr, Hendra,
Mr, Hilton, The Secretary reported that 31 letters were on file from property
ovmers in the Hi^ Drive area objecting to the request. Following discussion,
Clarence Gillett moved that the application be denied. The Chairman asked three
times for a second to the motion, then declared the motion lost for want of a^
second. The Chairman then appointed a coiimittee of Swanson, Petrocine, and Miles
to inspect the site and the adjoining properties and report at the next meeting.
The Secretary presented a proposal, forwarded to the Commission from the County
Attorney and submitted by Robert Bigler, requesting the roads in the Prospect
Valley Sub division to be vacated. After reviewing the request, Chas, Hix moved
that it be approved, Howard Stewart seconded the motion. Upon roll call, said
motion carried by the following vote: Those yoting "Yes", Hix, Petrocine, Bernard
