Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Planning Commission, held in
the Town Hall on -^pril 20, 1965 at 4; 00 P.M.
Present; Harry Miles, Chairman, Chas. F Hix, N*T» Petrocine, Val Bernard,
Clarence Glllett, Dr. J.O. Mall, Howard Stevxart, James Bissell.Verne H. Fanton, Secretary i
Absent; R.C. Brodle, Louis Canaiy, Carl Swanson, L«F. Flower,
Minutes of the regular meeting held on March I6, read and approved.
Mr. M.G. Church, Registered Surveyor, appeared and presented a plat
entitled Ponderoea Subdivision, a portion of lot 19, of So. St. Vrain
Addition, owned by Frank & Maria Runz. The plat appearing to be in
order, Chas. Hix moved that it be approved. James Bissell seconded
motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
Mr. Paul Van Horn Registered Engineer, appeard and presented a
sub-division plat entitled "Alpine Acres", located Immediately South
of Village Acres Sub-division, owned by H.N, Neuman. Mr. Van Horn
Alpine AcresStated that subject to the approval of the Tovti Board, the area
Sub* would be annexed and served with municipal water and that application
would be made to connect to the Sanitation District's eksxe sev;er
system. The plat appearing to be in order, Chas. Hix moved that
it be approved. Dr. Mall seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried. i

Mr. Van Horn also presented a preliminary plat Entitled "Karel
Heights,'located in Sec. 31> R» 73 N. owned by Westvievj^ Builders
Corporation, ^ Leonard Molander. The plat was in order with one
exception, the platted road on the South was shovm as 50» in width.
It was suggested that an effort be made to increase this to 60».
In accordance with the action taken 1 at the last meeting, the
Committee of Clarence Gillett, James Bissell and N.T. Petrocine,
presented a written report and recommendations regarding proposed
changes in the County Ordinance regulating signs. Chas. Hix moved
tnat the report be adopted as presented. Hovrard Stewart seconded
the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously carried.
Mr. Bill Wyatt, County Attorney, was willing to meet with the Commission and the date was set at 3:00 P.M.
