Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Planning Commission,
held in the Town Hall on the 19th day of May, 1964, at 4:00 P.M.
PRESENT: TOWN COm-IISSION: ‘Harry Miles, Louis Canaiy, Chas. Hix, N.T. Petrocine.
Absent: R.C. Brodie, Carl Sv/anson.

Minutes of the regular meeting held on April 21, read and approved as read.
TOWN OF ESTES PARK
Chairman Miles opened the meeting and stated that the Commission would
proceed to conduct a public hearing regarding the proposal to re-zone
Lots 32, 33, and all of Lot 36 except the South 32 feet thereof, of
Riverside subdivision, together with the Southerly 50
10 and 11 of Block 5, Town of Estes Park, from the present U District to the C 1 Commercial District. The Secretary stated that legal
publication had been complied with and that no correspondence had been
received. There were no persons present objecting to the proposal.
Mr. Edward Hummer, Attorney at Lavr, representing Mr. G*H‘ G-ilTlaI'.^a^o„Q.v present and stated that he was in accord v/ith the proposal. Louis Canaiy
moved that the Commission recommend to the Town Board that the above
property be re—zoned accordingly. Chas. F. Hix seconded the motion.
Upon roll call said motion carried by the followlhiig vote; Those voting
"Yes" Miles, Canaiy, Hix and Petrocine. Those voting 'No None.
Louis Canaiy reported he had met with the Town Board regarding "the
possibility of the Town adopting a Master plan for a uniform architectural
design for the front of business establishments. Mr. Canaiy stated that
the Board expressed interest in the idea andjinformed the Commission to
contact Mr. Trafton Bean, Planning Consultant, for initial information.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
