Minutes of a regular meeting of the Estes Park Local Planning Commission.
Meeting held in the Tovm Hall, on Tuesday November 20th at M';00 P.M.

Minutes of the regular meeting held on September 18th, read and approved.
Chairman Miles opened the meeting and declared the Commission would
proceed to conduct a public hearing regarding Zoning. The Secretary
reported that legal publications had been complied with. A petition
was read, submitted by Richard Stathan, asking that a portion of lot
and a portion of lot 31, Riverside Subdivision, be re-zoned from the
existing R-2 Multiple Family District, to a C-2 Restricted Commercial
District. The petition was signed by 1? other property ovmers.
Mr. Stathara appeared and spoke in favor of the re—zoning. Mr. Earl^
Carmack and Mrs. Vivian Baird appeared and spoke against the re—zoning.
The Secretary read seven letters filed against the re-zoning. Following
open discussion, G.M. Hunter moved that the request be denied. Chas.
Hix seconded the motion. Upon I’oll call sa.id motion unanimously carried.
The Secretary read the published notice proposing to zone all of Lot 12,
of The So. St. Vrain addition, except that portion Included within
the Txvln View Re Subdivision, from the existing Unclassified District
to a Restricted Industrial District. There x^ere no persons present,
to be heard, and no correspondence on file. Chas. Hix moved that
the proposal be approved and recommended to the Town Board. C.M.
Hunter seconded the motion. Upon roll call said motion unanimously
carried. !
There being no further business, it was regularly moved, seconded and
carried that the meeting adjourn.
