Minutes of a Regular meeting of the ESTES PARK URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY of the
Town of Estes Park, Larimer County, Colorado. Meeting held in the Municipal Building in said
Town of Estes Park on the 19th day of January, 2000.

Chairman Putney called the regular meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.
AGENDA
Executive Director Smith reported that the December financial report will be continued to the
February meeting. It was moved and seconded (Swank/Jarolimek) to approve the agenda,
and it passed unanimously.
MINUTES
It was moved and seconded (SteigeAA/idmer) that the December 15, 1999 meeting minutes
be approved as presented, and it passed unanimously.
FINANCIAL REPORT
None
COMMISSIONER AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
Commissioner Wasson presented sales tax revenue statistics for 1993-1998 and discussed the
“other” digital divide, i.e., how federal policy redlines small and midsized business, threatens
jobs and diminishes economic opportunity for America’s suburbs, small towns and rural areas.

PROJECT REPORTS/ACTIONS
Executive Director’s Report. Executive Director Smith reviewed the Lot 1, Mountain Man
Subdivision project and presented an updated rate schedule for Design Studios West.
Executive Director Smith read Resolution 281 approving a work program for fiscal year 2000. It
was moved and seconded (WidmerAA/asson) that Resolution 281 be approved as
presented, and it passed unanimously.
Executive Director read Resolution 282 designating the public place for posting notices of
meetings. It was moved and seconded (Swank/Steige) be approved as presented, and it
passed unanimously.
There being no further business. Chairman Putney adjourned the meeting at 8:46 a.m. The
next regular meeting will be February 16, 2000 at 8:00 a.m.
